Our friends at the Worcester-based national charity Leukaemia CARE came along to Fladbury Village Hall for our rehearsal on Wednesday 25th Jan to show their thanks for singing for them at the Victorian Fayre in Worcester last November.
Claire Boston from LeukaemiaCARE presented our chairman Chris Franey with a Certificate of Appreciation for the £108.81 that their volunteers collected while we were on stage singing in the High Street.
We’re delighted , Claire, to be able to help the work you and your colleagues carry out in helping and giving practical advice to those who’ve been diagnosed with blood cancers.
In the three years we’ve now been singing at the Victorian Fayre we’ve now raised a total of £540 for LeukaemiaCARE.
As you can see below, it was a pretty chilly singout that day, but it warms our hearts to know we’re helping people in times of need.
